Sections of red satin ribbon are unravelled and bound in tape to create hair plugs which are added to the casting. The act of unravelling feels particularly relevant to the piece. The act of destruction and recreation is a queer act. The use of a ribbon removed from its original context disrupts the expectations of how the material behaves and how it is perceived.
